Tim Newman's next drum...
This one is Tim's second from WCH...it is actually a retrofit from an existing drum. The drum was a PDP 805 series snare. What we did was split the shell, replace the lugs with Ego tube lugs, replace the wrap with WCH's aluminum diamond plating, a powedercoated Dunnet throw and butt, and a new Fat Cat dual adjustable snare.
Here is a pic of Tim's first...an 8x12 split shell with the green finish to match his DW Sea Green drum set....
Currently working on a "renovation" project for Corey (West Works Photo).
Taking a Premier steel snare...
- cutting off the bearing edges...
- using some wood re-rings for new bearing edges...
- wood veneer for a totally new look...
- bead blasting the hoops...
- new lugs...
- new throw...

WCH is working on teaming up with an awesome Indiana based foundation for a fund raiser....
- Camp Riley (Riley Children's Foundation) - See web site homepage and Facebook pages for info.
- Artwork Received 8-3-2010; Will be dropping them off to begin getting them "digitized" for putting on the drum wrap!
- As of 9-1-10, 90% of the set has been covered...remaining will be covered by WCH (unless more donations come in)
- Ordering remaining items from Drum Foundry...
- (9-1-10) Starting the hole drilling in the toms and snare.
